MA SAFE SOCCER

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) requires
ALL COACHES with all its affiliated
Leagues (BCYSL) and Clubs (BHYSC)
to complete a
CONCUSSION TRAINING COURSE
and a
ABUSUE PREVENTION (Safe Sport) TRAINING COURSE
to ensure the safety of all youth soccer players in Massachusetts.

Please visit: mayouthsoccer.org/about/ma-safe-soccer/

MYSA has recommended two potential avenues for coaches to receive training,
both are offered as free online training courses.

CDC Concussion Course: headsup.cdc.gov/

NFHS Concussion Course: nfhslearn.com/courses/61129/concussion-in-sports

When either course is completed the online certificate should be saved by the coach.

BHYSC Coaches, we ask that you not only keep a copy of your online completion certificate, but also forward a digital copy of your completion certificate to:

berkshirehillssoccer@gmail.com

PARENTS: You know your child best. Learn the symptoms of concussion as well.
These free online training courses are available to anyone.
